Meadowbrook Manor Celebrates with a Block Party
Meadowbrook Manor in La Grange celebrated the facilities' coming anniversary with a block party on Saturday. Check out our great pictures!
A warm sunny day drew families and friends to Meadowbrook Manor’s Community Block Party in La Grange. Meadowbrook is a family owned, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. Outside, children jumped in inflatable structures and clowns from the West Suburban Clown Club greeted visitors and residents with their friendly antics.
Inside, visitors stopped by the dining room for ice cream sundaes and other refreshments. They also took tours where they viewed service rooms such as an in-house dialysis unit with a 24-chair capacity and a physical therapy area. The manor’s other services include a progressive wound care program, respite care and a physical, occupational and speech therapy team.
Burr Ridge residents George and Georgetta Rediehs answered questions about the manor’s former existence as the Illinois Masonic Orphans Home.
The building celebrated its 100th anniversary this year.
