More LTHS Fight Details Revealed
School officials say they have been told there are "no additional security concerns."

LA GRANGE, IL – The student who was injured in a fight Monday at Lyons Township High School's North Campus was taken by ambulance to a hospital and is receiving medical treatment, the school says.
The fight occurred shortly after 4 p.m. at Exit 7, according to a statement to families.
The school said it is in contact with the student's family "as we support them in this difficult time," Superintendent Brian Waterman and Principal Jen Tyrrell said in the statement.

The officials said La Grange police have emphasized that the fight appears to have been a targeted incident and that there are "no additional security concerns" related to the incident.
"We understand that there are questions that we are unable to answer at this time due to the ongoing investigation," the school officials said.

La Grange Police Chief Robert Wardlaw has not returned calls for comment.
