Motown Coming to Western Springs Theater
The show is a fundraiser for the Theatre of Western Springs.
WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Theatre of Western Springs presents “Motown Reflections Revue” at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the theater, 4384 Hampton Ave. The show is a fundraiser and part of the theater's Performance Series for the public, according to a news release.
Originating in Chicago, the Motown Reflections is a group of professional male vocalists who sing Motown, Soul and R&B. They present a tribute to Motown’s greatest hits from such groups as the Four Tops, The Temptations and other vocal groups, the release said. The Reflections have worked with such artists as Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Luther Vandross, the SOS Band, Tyrone Davis, Anita Baker, the Delfonics and other artists, according to the release.
“Motown Reflections brings Hitsville, USA, to the Theatre of Western Springs,” Ann Marie Hultgren, chairwoman of the TWS Performance Series, said in the news release. “This is music you move to. It’s the likes of Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations. The list goes on. We hope people will come and recapture the magic of these iconic songs.”
