Nazareth Academy Celebrates Homecoming

At the dance, Student Council celebrated the 2017 Homecoming Court.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — Nazareth's Student Council led the way in planning an awesome Homecoming Week around a “Chicago: My Kind of Town" theme. Chicago sports dress-down days, a bake sale, lunchtime games, and Chicago’s famous mascots all got students in the right spirit.

According to the school, the week culminated in an exciting Pep Rally on Friday, Sept. 29, with a surprise appearance by Chicago favorites, the Jesse White Tumblers. On Friday night, Nazareth Football beat Joliet Catholic Academy in a decisive Homecoming victory, lending even more fun to the Homecoming Dance, which was held on Saturday night in the Rooney Student Center. At the dance, Student Council celebrated the 2017 Homecoming Court.

  • Freshmen Prince and Princess: Sam Shishem of Burr Ridge and Monica Matual of Chicago
