The Nazareth Academy Fine Arts Department will present to the public two different performances in December.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — The Nazareth Academy Fine Arts Department will present to the public two different performances in December. On Sunday, Dec. 3, Nazareth’s Advanced Acting classes present "Freckleface Strawberry," a children’s musical based on the books written by Julianne Moore. According to the school, all ages will enjoy the story of "Freckleface Strawberry," who will do anything to get rid of her freckles.
There will be one show only on Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. in the Romano Family Theatre at Nazareth, 1209 W. Ogden, La Grange Park. Tickets are $2 each (or $1 with a canned good). No reservations are necessary.
Next, on Tuesday, Dec. 12, Nazareth’s Bands and Choirs will join together to present a free Christmas Concert. The school said guests of all ages will enjoy a selection of Christmas favorites performed by Nazareth’s Concert and Progressions choirs as well as the Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and the debut of the Beginning Band. Perennial favorites such as "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Ding Dong Merrily on High" and "White Christmas," are all on the program for the evening. The programs will combine for a spirited arrangement of Christmastime medleys.
