Nazareth Academy Student Recognized By National Merit
Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students who took the 2017 PSAT/NMSQT.
LA GRANGE PARK, IL — A Nazareth Academy student has been named a Commended Student in the 2019 National Merit scholarship program. Julia Gregor of Stickney was named a Commended Student.
The school said about 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.6 million students who took the 2017 PSAT/NMSQT.
“We are extremely proud of Julia for the ways she excels academically and in other facets of our school mission," Principal Therese Hawkins said. Gregor is member of NHS, NEHS and Mu Alpha Theta in addition to a four-year member of the Band Program.
