Nazareth Academy Students Named AP Scholars

24 Nazareth Academy students earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — In May, 96 Nazareth students took 160 AP exams in 11 different areas. Now, the school said 24 of those students earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams.

From the Class of 2018:

  • Samuel Byczek, Antonio Carrasco, Chase Coler, Jamie Glas, Margaret Herr, Cheryl Hohl, Brian Metzger, James Moster and Anne Swade were named AP Scholars with Honor by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams, according to the school.
  • Grace Calabria, Jiuxu Ding, John Ferguson, Monika Miranda, Kevin Quinn, Joseph Trelenberg, Renjie Wei, Yanzheng Wu were named AP Scholars by completing three or more AP Exams with grades of 3 or higher.

  • Julia Gregor was named an AP Scholar with Honor, the school said. Anthony King, Liam Murphy, Scott Sikorski, Steven Staubus and David Sullivan were named AP Scholars.
