Nazareth Academy Students Named Illinois State Scholars

39 Nazareth Academy students have been named Illinois State Scholars.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL — 39 students from the Nazareth Academy class of 2018 have been recognized as Illinois State Scholars. According to the school, the award is given annually by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC). Illinois State Scholars rank in the top ten percent of high school seniors from across the state.

Illinois State Scholars possess strong academic potential and perform in the top one-half of their high school class at the end of the third semester prior to graduation, and/or score at or above the 95th percentile on the ACT or SAT.

“We are extremely proud of these young men and women who represent our school not only in this area of academic achievement, but also as such outstanding individuals as well. We congratulate them and their parents on this distinguished honor,” Principal Deborah Tracy said in a release.
