Nazareth Student Athletes Celebrate College Signings
Two student athletes from the class of 2019 at Nazareth Academy have officially committed to colleges.
LA GRANGE PARK, IL — Two student athletes from the class of 2019 at Nazareth Academy have officially committed to continue their academic and athletic pursuits at the college level. The school said Andrew McKenna of Burr Ridge will continue his academic and baseball career at Holy Cross. Michael Prosecky of Westchester will continue his academic and baseball career at University of Louisville.
McKenna is a 3-year varsity starter at catcher, the school said.
“He is one of the best hitting catchers in the area,” Head Coach Lee Milano said in a release. “Plus, he brings a ton of positive energy to the team.”

Prosecky, who received his Louisville offer after his freshman year, is a 3-year varsity starter and a leader of Nazareth’s student fan section, the Freddie Fanatics, the school said.
According to Coach Milano, “Michael is ranked as one of the top lefty high school pitchers in the nation. He topped out at 94 MPH this summer.”
