New Dispatch Center Opening for Lyons Township Area
The villages of La Grange, La Grange Park and Western Springs coordinated to create this new dispatch center.
LA GRANGE, IL- The Lyons Township Area Communication Center, a new consolidated dispatch center, opened on March 20. The villages of La Grange, La Grange Park and Western Springs coordinated to create this center.
The village said that the consolidation of dispatch services will provide for enhanced police, fire and emergency medical dispatch in a cost effective manner. The current telecommunicators serving each of the communities will transfer to LTACC and continue to provide the high-quality, professional service.
The dispatch center will be housed at La Grange Police Department, 304 W. Burlington Ave.
Once LTACC opens, all 911 emergency calls will be routed directly to LTACC and the dispatcher taking the call will dispatch the appropriate emergency services.
