Bradley Belcaster, a former park board member who filled a vacancy from 2010 to 2011, will be a part of the negotiations with buyers looking to purchase the 3-acre park parcel, the Chicago Tribune reports. Belcaster's consultancy rate will be $175 an hour, the report added.

"(Belcaster) is very familiar with the situation, with the property, with the local market," Board President Mary Ellen Penicook told the Tribune.

The property for sale is in the northwest corner of the 17-acre park, near La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue, the Tribune reports.
