Park District of La Grange Annual Halloween Party

Halloween Party

Put on your costume and get ready to celebrate Halloween with the Park District of La Grange. The Park District will be holding its annual Halloween Party, taking place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 at the Recreation Center, located at 536 East Ave. in La Grange.

The event will feature carnival games, prizes, candy, entertainment and crafts. Additionally, the Park District will raffle off two bicycles generously donated by the Village of La Grange Fire Department.

There is no cost to attend, and the Halloween Party is open to all families with boys and girls ages 12 years and younger.

Leading up to the party, the Park District is offering two other Halloween-specific programs. On Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., two-to-six-year-old children and their parents can create a spooky jack-o-lantern in Parent & Tot Pumpkin Carving. The Park District will provide all of the carving materials, decorations and a Halloween snack; all the participants will need to bring is a pumpkin.

On Monday, Oct. 27, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., four-to-six year olds can show off their costumes, make a craft, listen to fun stories and play games at Halloween Happenings.
