Park District of La Grange Holiday Tree Lighting

Join the Park District of La Grange as we kick off the holiday season with an old-fashioned Tree Lighting on Tuesday, December 5th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Waiola Park located at 47th St. and Waiola Avenue., La Grange, IL.

This FREE event will feature holiday entertainment including: Those Funny Little People Elves, and a special visitor from the North Pole! The actual tree lighting will occur at approximately 6:10 p.m.

This good old fashioned tree lighting will put everyone in the holiday spirit! Warm up with some hot cocoa as you and your family enjoy the wonderful tree decorations. We will also be collecting new and gently used winter clothes and accessories that will be donated to local charities.

Get your family, friends, or a group together and purchase a holiday tree to decorate. Stop by the Recreation Center to register and pick up the tree decorating guidelines. The cost per lighted tree is $65, and the purchasing deadline is Wednesday, November 22nd. Trees can be decorated any time after Thursday, November 30th.
