The Park District of La Grange will be hosting its second annual Park Pride event on Saturday, May 16th from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Park Pride is a village wide volunteer service day that will be held at select La Grange parks. This event is for participants of all ages. Families and community groups are welcome to participate. Our goal is to help motivate the community to clean-up and beautify our parks for everyone to enjoy.
The event will be held rain or shine! This is a great opportunity to complete service hours. All participating volunteers will be entered in to a raffle! One adult winner will receive a $25 gift card to The Home Depot and one child winner will receive vouchers for free Andy’s Custard!
Large groups should email Diana Faught at dianafaught@pdlg.org for pre-registration. A parent or guardian must sign a waiver for each minor who chooses to participate. Participants can also register the day of the event at the Recreation Center beginning at 8:30 a.m.
