Residents Can Set out Unlimited Household Refuse on Spring Clean-Up Day
Spring Clean-Up Days will take place the week of April 13.

La Grange residents can set out an unlimited amount of household refuse on their regular collection day the week of April 13 for Spring Clean-Up Day.
- Residents north of 47th Street - April 13, 2015
- Residents south of 47th Street - April 16, 2015
Residents must use three stickers in total on the waste they set out for collection.

Republic Service will collect large and miscellaneous items from single and two-family residences at the curb such as:
- Appliances
- Bulk items (bicycles, fans, etc.)
- Carpet (must be cut down to 4 feet in length, securely bundled, and no more than 30 lbs. in weight)
- Furniture
- Couches
- Chairs
Acceptable items must be placed next to regular refuse at the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day. Items other than furniture, large bulk items and appliances must be placed in bags, cans or boxes not heavier than 50 pounds each.

- Construction and/or demolition debris
- Scrap wood and lumber
- Paint
- Concrete, asphalt, rocks bricks
- Car parts
- Tires
- Batteries
- Any type of fluid
- Ammunition
- Hazardous or medical waste
- Radioactive materials
- Yard waste
- Fencing
- Railroad ties
Yard waste will be collected if properly prepared, stickered and set out on a regular collection day.
