Road Closures Planned in La Grange for Sewer Cleaning

Tilden Avenue from Shawmut Avenue to the BNSF railroad tracks will be closed March 30 to April 3 at night from ( p.m. to 6 a.m. for the village’s sewer televising and cleaning program.

The road will be reopened to traffic each day, according to the village. A detour will be marked by signs in the area. Drivers are asked to use Kemman Avenue, 31st Street, Ogden Avenue or La Grange Road.

Cossitt Avenue will also be closed between Brainard Avenue and Park Avenue from March 30 to April 3 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Work has been scheduled during spring break for Lyons Township High School to minimize conflicts, according to the village.

Closures will occur on subsequent days if weather or progress delays work.
