Road Work to Cause Lane Closures on La Grange Road

Intermittent resurfacing work will take place on La Grange Road beginning this week, requiring some lane closures.

At least one lane of traffic in northbound and southbound should stay open at all times, according to the village, but delays are expected.

Drivers are encouraged to find other routes to avoid work zones, to plan for delays and to drive carefully through construction zones.

The work is expected to take several weeks to finish, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation, and it includes milling and resurfacing deteriorated areas of pavement and stripping pavement markings.

Central Blacktop of Hodgkins, Illinois, will do the work.
