Rock-a-Thon brings in big donations

​Lyons Township High School's radio station, WLTL 88.1, raised a grand total of $26,856 at its weekend Rock-a-Thon.

Lyons Township High School’s radio station, WLTL 88.1, raised a grand total of $26,856 at its weekend Rock-a-Thon. After months of planning and preparation, the broadcast kicked off at 5am February 14 and concluded at 9:06pm February 17, for a total of 88.1 continuous hours. LTTV also broadcasted and streamed video live over the internet and cable.

Pledges will be used to enhance audio playback, which requires new computers for music replay, and an improved connection between the studio and the transmitter site.
