Secret No More: LTHS Reveals Reason For Meeting
The board had kept the meeting's purpose under wraps last week.

LA GRANGE, IL – The Lyons Township High School board on Monday divulged the reason for holding a special meeting next week.
On March 9, the board plans to hold a closed session to discuss personnel issues. It does not plan to take action. No other business is on its meeting agenda.
Under state law, public bodies can discuss issues involving specific employees behind closed doors.

On Friday, Patch asked the school's spokeswoman why the board was holding a meeting. She declined to answer the question, but said the board posts its agendas at least 48 hours in advance.
On Monday morning, Patch published a story about the school's decision to keep the meeting's purpose secret for the time being. Later in the day, the board posted the agenda.
