Senator Nybo seeking volunteer interns for summer months

Senator Chris Nybo is currently seeking volunteer interns ages 18 and older to work with his legislative office for the summer months.

LOMBARD – Senator Chris Nybo is currently seeking volunteer interns ages 18 and older to work with his legislative office for the summer months.

“My Legislative Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for community-minded young people to learn more about state government, current issues, legislation and constituent contact,” said Senator Nybo.

Senator Nybo’s internship program will be offered from June through September, and will provide hands-on experience in community relations and communications, monitoring local issues, along with research projects.

Applicants are asked to provide a resume by e-mail to chris@chrisnybo.org by June 1. Applications can also be downloaded from Senator Nybo’s Web site at www.chrisnybo.org.

Senator Nybo’s district staff will work with students in need of education and community service credits. Internships are flexible in terms of hours and length of commitment for students who may have other obligations.
