A compilation of moments from 16 different plays will be presented on the Academy's website Oct. 10 to celebrate the arts amid the pandemic.

Press release from Nazareth Academy:

Sept. 18, 2020

Even given the uncertainty facing students this fall, Nazareth Academy’s Drama program is committed to celebrating the impact and importance of the dramatic arts. After all, “the show must go on,” as they say in show business. Director Kim White has compiled scenes and monologues from the past 30 years of Naz Drama. A compilation of moments from 16 different plays, complete with introductions from alumni from the original productions, will be presented as a video via Nazareth Academy’s website on Saturday, October 10.

“Every year the fall play is a new experience,” said Mrs. White, “but this year really takes the cake. I am so proud of Nazareth’s commitment to the arts and am completely inspired by our cast for how they’ve adapted to this non-traditional format.” Mrs. White has been rehearsing with two dozen students via Zoom to perfect each scene and monologue. The finished version will be recorded via greenscreen with backgrounds and effects added by members of the tech team and student crew.
