Of the 2,000 art pieces submitted, just 178 works were selected to receive awards. 1st, 2nd 3rd place and 10% from each category earned Honorable Mention. Winning students will have their work recognized at the Chicago Area 4 X 5 Art Exhibit opening scheduled for 7:30pm Wednesday, November 6, at Oswego High School, plus exhibited at Water Street Studio Gallery in Batavia on December 13 and the Illinois High School Art Exhibition in Chicago at the Zhou B Art Center on March 8.

Prior to the Oswego High School awards presentation, a Portfolio Day is available for students. Participants will have an opportunity to make connections with 13 top college art and design programs from around the United States. Students are invited to bring their portfolios before the start of the Chicagoland 4x5 Opening to meet and have their work critiqued by art school representatives.
