Soup & Bread Fundraising Event Back In Person

The Soup and Bread Event benefiting local non-profit BEDS Plus is back in person this year featuring live music, raffles, great local soup and a variety of wine and craft beers. Join us for a cozy, family-friendly gathering to assist BEDS vulnerable clients in the Southwest Suburbs to stabilize their lives through shelter, housing and supportive services.

Soups to be served this year are Butternut Squash courtesy of The Elm in La Grange, Cream of Jalapeno from Mary’s Morning Mix-up of Brookfield, The Works Bar and Restaurant Summit will provide Dumpling Soup and The Stadium Club of McCook will be serving Beef Vegetable, just to name a few choices.

Entertainment will include live music from The First Congo All-in-Band and Blue Lexi on the Rockpile Strategies Stage. Honee Brown, performing on the Terrace Stage will be an acoustic guitar player, vocalist, and songwriter along with The Crows of Furey acoustic duo.

Soup & Bread 2023 will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 5th 2023, at the Holiday Inn Banquet Center, 6201 Joliet Road in Countryside. Tickets are currently on sale for $25 per person. Kids aged 12 and younger are admitted free. Find out more about the event here: www.beds-plus.org
