The first wedding lasted 16 years. This one is only in town September 22 through December 30.
Tony n' Tina's Wedding returns to Chicago for a limited engagement beginning Thursday, September 22 with a new production from the original New York producers. While the original 16 year run performed at Piper's Alley, this production will take place in a real church, followed by a sit down dinner at a banquet hall for the reception.
The completely immersive experience begins at Resurrection Church (3309 N. Seminary), with a full meal and reception just a block away at Vinnie Black's Coliseum (aka Chicago Theater Works, 1113 W. Belmont. From the wedding ceremony to the bouquet toss to the Italian dinner, everything is done with the 1908's throwback feel of the original New York City production. Guests are encouraged to attend in their favorite 1980's outfit.
What's great about Tony n' Tina's Wedding is that guests are never just sitting in the audience. From the walk down the aisle to their seats in the church, every guest is a full participant in the show. You never know when the mother-of-the-bride will sit at your table to ask about your family or a groomsman will ask you to dance. The cast includes 23 of Tony n' Tina's closest family and friends to keep every guest entertained.

“We are so thrilled to be back in Chicago. Our unique show is a two part event in two different venues that pulls out all of the wedding stops,” said original New York Producer Joe Corcoran. “Familiar and new audiences are going to absolutely love the nostalgia in the awesome full experience that is our show, interacting with more than 20 fun and very familiar characters throughout the entire wedding celebration.”
