LA GRANGE, IL – The top-paid employee at La Grange School District 102 in the 2022-23 school year was Superintendent Kyle Schumacher, who retired in June.
Schumacher made $227,500, including annuities. That compared to $273,000 for Superintendent Hector Garcia in Hinsdale School District 181, which has about 700 more students and is in one of the state's wealthiest areas.
La Grange District 102, which has nearly 3,000 students, recently approved the release of the 2022-23 compensation list.
