Village Of La Grange: Governor Issues Statewide Indoor Face Covering Mandate

Governor JB Pritzker announced that effective Monday, August 30, Illinois will be under an indoor face covering mandate, regardless of vaccination status. Executive Order 2021-20 (LINK) implements the new statewide face covering mandate.  The Cook County Department of Public Health also announced that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a mask indoors, beginning on Monday, Aug. 23.

All Illinois residents over the age of 12 are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at no cost.  To find a vaccination center near you, please visit vaccines.gov
