• Illinois grad student Rosa wins men's marathon with near-record time (news-gazette.com) — A Lake Bluff native, graduate student Benjamin Rosa, just won the Illinois Marathon in Champaign, finishing only 14 seconds off the course record. Now studying accounting at the University of Illinois after running at Harvard, he’s logging 130-mile training weeks and is already eyeing another marathon in Ottawa next month.
