• Lake Forest officials seeking financing help to build more senior cottages through state program (chicagotribune.com) — Lake Bluff may help finance 12 new affordable senior cottages planned just over the border in Lake Forest, with potential funding from the village and the Lake Forest–Lake Bluff Senior Citizens Foundation. Lake Forest officials are seeking state tax credits, county grants, and local housing trust funds to close a multimillion-dollar gap, with a decision possible as soon as June.
