4 Nabbed In String of Overnight Car Burglaries in Lake Forest
Seven victim vehicles have been identified thus far, police say.

Four men have been charged with seven counts of felony burglary to motor vehicle and criminal damage to property stemming from a string of overnight car break-ins.
According to Lake Forest police, Michael T. Allen, 22, Lake Villa; Enrique A. Buitrago, 20, Waukegan; Sean J. O’Reilly, 18, Gurnee and Jack D. Thomas, 18, Grayslake will be transported to the Lake County Jail Wednesday night and will appear in bond court Thursday morning.
According to Deputy Chief of Police Karl Walldorf, “we currently have seven victim cars but that will probably grow.”

Everett School On Lockdown As Police Seek Burglary Suspects
The four are accused of breaking into seven cars, all before 1:42 a.m. Wednesday, when police were called to a burglary in progress in the 1800 block of Farm Road. All seven burglaries allegedly occurred in the 1500 block of Kennett, 1100 block of Oak Knoll, 1700 block of Hackberry and the 1200 thru 1400 block of West Fork.

Earlier reports indicated two of the suspects were apprehended when police responded to the Farm Road burglary and another two were captured later after fleeing the scene - causing a lockdown of nearby Everett School during the morning hours.
