Akorn Appoints 4 To Executive Positions

Akorn Inc., a Lake Forest specialty pharmaceutical company, announced its executive appointments recently.

Roles have changed for four officials at the company, according to CNN Money.

Jonathan Kafer is the new Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He will oversee all commercial functions for Akorn’s business units in the newly created role.

Randall Pollard will serve as Vice President and Corporate Controller, overseeing all accounting and financial reporting functions.

Steve Lichter is the Executive Vice President, Pharmaceutical Operations. He will oversee Akorn’s global supply chain and plant operations.

Jaspreet Gill, a former Baxter executive, was appointed Executive Vice President, Global Quality Compliance. She will oversee global regulatory compliance for Akorn’s manufacturing sites and members of the supply chain.
