Amelia Earhart: Soaring High on Wings of Success

“Please know I am quite aware of the hazards. I
want to do it because I want to do it.” ~Amelia Earhart. The American
aviation legend disappeared without a trace on July 2, 1937 while attempting to
be the first person to fly around the world at the equator. Historian Jim
Gibbons presents the life of the woman known as “Lady Lindy.” Did she drown at
sea, live out the rest of her life on a secluded island or be imprisoned by the
Japanese as a spy for the United States Government? Mr. Gibbons will present
the life and death, and the facts and theories of America’s first woman
aviator, Amelia Earhart!
