Man allegedly drove drunk, fled officers and left 2 crash scenes, sparking large police search in Highland Park (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Lake Forest residents should know that local police have charged a Chicago man with leaving the scene of a separate crash in town, tied to an alleged drunk driving spree across several communities. While details of the Lake Forest crash remain unclear, the case is moving forward in local court next month alongside related charges in Bannockburn and Highland Park.
3. Minnesota Tied 13th After Opening Day at Windon Memorial Classic - University of Minnesota Athletics (gophersports.com) — Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest is hosting the Windon Memorial Classic, where the University of Minnesota men's golf team sits tied for 13th after 36 holes.
