LAKE FOREST, IL — The following information comes from the Lake Forest Police Department and court records as a record of those arrested by police. Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indication of guilt and criminal charges, which represent merely accusations by the state, are often dropped or reduced. All persons named are innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Princeton Cain, 24, of the 0-100 block of Campus Road in Lake Forest was arrested shortly before 3 p.m. on June 3 and charged with two counts of domestic battery. Police encountered a person on the campus of Lake Forest College with several injuries who told police they were the result of a fight with Cain. Based on the evidence and interviews with both people, police contacted the Lake County state's attorney's office, who approved the charges. Cain was ordered held in lieu of 10 percent of a $20,000 bond at Lake County Jail. He is due to be arraigned on the two misdemeanor counts on June 13 and faces a hearing regarding an emergency order of protection on June 25.

Three 18-year-old women, two from Buffalo Grove and one from Vernon Hills, were cited for minor consumption of alcohol after cops received a 911 call about teenagers drinking at Forest Park beach. One reportedly vomited and needed medical help. Police said all three women appeared "heavily" intoxicated and had water bottles containing alcohol. Police turned them over to the custody of a parent.

A 52-year-old Kenosha woman was arrested at 11:41 p.m. on June 4 and charged with driving with a suspended license near the intersection of Route 41 and Route 60. Police pulled over her Nissan SUV and learned her license had been suspended.
