Be Well-Lake County Patients Harvest Community Garden

Patients from the Be Well-Lake County diabetes management program enjoy the last harvest of the season from their Community Garden. The garden in North Chicago provided patients and their families with more than 150 pounds of produce. The garden was launched four years ago to provide patients with a local resource for fresh vegetables, a vital component to eating healthy and managing diabetes.
