Catholic Schools Week at East Lake Academy

Catholic Schools Week was fun for all at East Lake Academy. Students in 4th-8th grade were paired with the younger students in PreK- 3rd grade. The older student taught the younger student about a saint they researched. This gave the older student a chance to show their leadership skills and the younger student learned more about a specific saint. During the All School Holy Mass, students in 5th and 6th grade took part in a ceremonial initiation into The Knights of the Altar. The all School Spelling Bee was a highlight on Thursday and Catholic Schools Week came to an end on Friday with an all-school pep rally.
