Before your kids head back to college or
their apartments, help them learn and practice important cooking skills to feed
themselves and their friends. These
classes cover what they need to know to successfully transition to their own
kitchen. We encourage registration for
both sessions, but individual session sign-ups are also welcome.
Our menu includes a choice of Panko-Crusted Pork or
Eggplant with Roasted Tomato Cream Sauce, along with Italian Broccoli Salad, Mu
Shu Wraps, and Mixed Brown & White Rice.
Techniques covered: Mincing, dicing, sautéing, blanching and roasting
vegetables, breading and cooking meats, poaching chicken, testing for doneness,
preparing a pan sauce, preparing a vinaigrette, and properly cooking rice.
Hands-on, $65 per station per session (add a 2nd person to a station for an additional $15)
