Before your kids head back to college or their apartments, help them learn and practice important cooking skills to feed
themselves and their friends. These
classes cover what they need to know to successfully transition to their own
kitchen. We encourage registration for both sessions, but individual session sign-ups are also welcome.
Our menu includes Chicken Pot Pie, Caribbean Black
Bean & Sweet Potato Soup, Green Beans Two Ways, and Sautéed Chicken
Piccata.
Techniques covered: Mincing, dicing, sautéing, blanching and roasting
vegetables, sautéing meat, testing for doneness, preparing a pan sauce, and
using puff pastry.
Hands-on, $65 per station per session (add a 2nd person to a station for an additional $15)
Advance
registration is required for Thyme in the Kitchen events.
