Community Leaders Teach Everett Students About Lake Forest
Representatives from the city and other organizations took part in the second grade project.

Second grade students at Everett Elementary School are participating in a “unit of discovery” project about the Lake Forest community and recently learned first-hand from city leaders on their expertise.
Jeff Folker, a local realtor, kicked things off earlier this week with a discussion about the qualities of Lake Forest and why it is such a draw to families who come here to live.

Three representatives from Lake Forest Parks - Chuck Myers, Sally Swarthout, Rich Paulsen - also spoke to the kids as did Joanna Rokek, executive director of the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce and Laurie Stein, curator of the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society.
