Construction on East Side Train Station to Begin This Month
Platforms, walkways and parking spots could be occupied by workers and equipment until renovation project is complete in 2017.

LAKE FOREST, IL - Construction on the East Side Train Station in Lake Forest is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 15 and could cause some platforms and walkways to be closed while it is being worked on.
Brick masonry work, tuckpointing, removal and restoration of windows and woodwork are all expected to be completed by early 2017, according to a news release from the city.
Some parking spots could be occupied by construction vehicles during commute times.

Construction will take place on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. The train station building will be open during all normal hours.
