Flooding, Sewers Topic Of Lake Forest Meeting

From the City of Lake Forest: The Public Works Committee of the Lake Forest CityCouncil will hold a Storm Sewer Informational Meeting on Tuesday, November 21 from 7-9 p.m. at Gorton Community Center, 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest. The public is invited to attend.

Lake Forests city staff will provide an overview of the July and October flooding events and the City's storm sewer system. Residents will have an opportunity to comment or ask questions.

After the meeting has adjourned, the staff will be available to speak with residents about specific questions on their property or in their neighborhoods.

The City will also schedule free on-site inspections for residents seeking information on how to better flood-proof their homes and property.
