Facebook Photo Gallery: One Tile at a Time
Lake Forest artist enlists the help of family, friends to complete a poolside mosaic mural.
mosaic artist Lori Rozdolsky has a house to warm up, but it's 1,500 miles due south.
Rozdolsky recently invited families and friends over to the art galley at Stirling Hall to contribute an art piece to the 36-foot mosaic seascape she is creating to hang poolside at her home on Anna Maria Island in Florida.
Rozdolsky studies mosaic art-making at Stirling, and the mural creation is just getting started (her instructor Janet Austin suspects it’ll take another year to complete), so there is still plenty of mud to be slung at the state-of-art, art gallery.

The mural is comprised of handmade, store-bought items, and found items.
For others interested in contributing a piece to the mural, youth and adult classes are held four times a year.
