Incoming Freshmen Registration at Lake Forest High School Begins
Members of the Class of 2020 must be pre-registered by December 14.

Registration for 2016-17 incoming freshmen at Lake Forest High School has begun. District 115 officials have released the following guideline for ensuring your current eighth grader is registered.

Step 1: Pre-Registration

The first step in the process is to pre-register your student for freshman year by Monday, December 14, 2015. This information will be imported into our student information system and will allow us to begin planning for the upcoming school year. You will want to return to this webpage after completing the pre-registration process.

These meetings focus on the curricular options for incoming freshmen and the progression from freshmen to senior year.
• Schedule Course Selection Appointment
Friday, February 5, 2016
After you have pre-registered your student, you will need to schedule your course selection appointment and learn more about LFHS. The District will email username and passwords for individual students to make a course selection appointment with their counselor. Questions can be directed to LFHS Helpdesk 847-582-7370 between 7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.
• Students and Parents Attend Incoming Freshman Curriculum Night Monday, February 22, 2016 - 6:00pm Lake Forest High School (1285 N. McKinley Road, Lake Forest, IL)
This meeting will allow students and parents to explore curricular options, meet teachers and tour the high school.
Step 3: Verification of Residency & Enrollment and Course Selection In order to attend Lake Forest High School, you must complete the verification of residency and enrollment process. To do this, you MUST bring your student’s BIRTH CERTIFICATE and at least THREE documents verifying residency to your student’s course selection appointment.

Thursday, March 3, 2016 Course selection appointments at LFHS for St. Mary’s, Lake Forest Country Day, Forest Bluff Montessori, and all other incoming freshmen.
Step 4: Complete Online Registration and Pay School Fees
Around June 1, 2016, all students will be emailed a SnapCode email with information on how to complete the registration process and pay school fees. To attend Book Pick-Up, participate in Fall 2016 athletics, and start school in August 2016, the online registration and fee payment process must be completed by Monday, August 1, 2016.
