Lake Forest Arrest Reports: Feb. 24 - March 6

LAKE FOREST, IL — The following information comes from the Lake Forest Police Department as a record of those arrested by police. Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indication of guilt and criminal charges, which represent merely accusations by the state, are often dropped or reduced. All persons named are innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS.

A 33-year-old Hammond, Indiana man was arrested at 9:11 p.m. on Feb. 24 and charged with driving while his license was suspended following a traffic stop in the area of Route 41 and Route 60. He was also issued citations for speeding and failure to properly secure a child under the age of 8, who was turned over to her mother after her father's arrest.

A 19-year-old Green Bay, Wisconsin man was arrested at 5:07 p.m. on March 2 and charged with driving while his license was suspended after police arrived at the scene of a traffic crash at the intersection of Route 60 and Route 41. Officers spoke with both drivers involved and learned the man's license was suspended.

A 26-year-old Highwood man was arrested at 6 p.m. on March 4 and charged with driving while license revoked following a traffic stop in the area of Sheridan and Walnut roads. Officers pulled him over for an undisclosed moving violation and learned his driver's license had been revoked.

A 26-year-old Gurnee woman was arrested at 1:06 p.m. on March 6 and charged with driving while her license was revoked in connection with a 2016 DUI charge after she was pulled over for driving 75 mph in a posted 55 mph zone. She was also cited for speeding.
