
Have you ever looked at a picture of a yogi practicing a headstand or handstand and wonder why? Inversions are not only fun to play with, they also offer health benefits for our bodies. When the body is inverted, our blood flow is reversed. We provide our brains with more oxygen and blood. The flow of lymph is increased as well, flushing toxins out of our body. You may find that the next time you have a headache, or stuffy nose, that inverting your body may be just what you need.
What you may not know is that inversions do not need to be difficult or fancy. Here are three of my favorites.
