Lake County Clerk's Office to Close Earlier on Fridays

Beginning the first week of 2015, the Lake County Clerk’s Office will close 30 minutes earlier, bumping up the closing time to 7 p.m. from 7:30 p.m., the Daily Herald reports.

Lake County Clerk Carla N. Wyckoff told the Daily Herald the decision to close at 7 p.m. on Fridays will reduce overtime costs for Lake County sheriff’s deputies stationed at the clerk’s office during evening hours. The office will remain open until 7:30 p.m. through the remainder of 2014.
