BATTERY, CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Joseph J. Pollard, 20, of the 200 block of North Mayflower Road in Lake Forest, was arrested March 16 after police were called to investigate an attack on a child. After interviewing a juvenile victim and other witnesses, police determined Pollard slapped the boy in the face, broke his glasses and chased him around a yard with a five foot long metal pipe. The boy got away and called the police with the help of his parents.
