Tickets are now available for purchase on-line at www.lfhs.org for LFHS performances of Elaine May’s “Adaptation” and David Mamet’s “The Frog Prince” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17-19 in the David Miller Theatre at LFHS East Campus, 1285 N. McKinley Road. Both May, often partnered with Mike Nichols in a comedy team at Second City in the 1960’s heyday of that Theatre Company, and Mamet, Pulitzer Prize winning author of Glengarry Glen Ross, were and are huge influences in shaping the face of theatre in Chicago. “Adaptation” is a game show featuring the hapless Phil Benson who struggles through the 1960’s to find meaning and security in his often-frazzled life. “The Frog Prince” is a fable exploring rank, loyalty, and the quest for true love.
