League of Women Voters-Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Area Holiday Event
Members and guests invited to holiday luncheon December 8 at Froggy's

The League of Women Voters of Lake Forest/Lake Bluff (LWV-LF/LB) will host its annual Holiday Luncheon at Froggy's French Café in Highwood (306 Green Bay Road) on Friday, December 8. Event starts at 10:45 a.m., with valet parking available. The event is open to both League members and guests; it’s the perfect time of year to learn about the League.
During the luncheon, award-winning historian Barry Bradford will present “The History of Political Satire in America.” The League will also honor member Cindy Morehead with the Carrie Chapman Catt Local Leadership Award. Morehead joined the board of LWV-LF/LB in 1995 and served for 14 years, holding a multitude of key leadership positions. She continues to be an active League supporter.
Limited seating, RSVP required with menu choice ($50 by December 1 or pay $55 at the door, checks only to “LWVIL Ed Fund,” PO Box 645 Lake Forest 60045). This luncheon is funded by the LWV of Illinois Education Fund; $10 is tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
