LF Schools Admin Leaving for Superintendent Post
Lori Wilcox will be the next superintendent of Aptakisic-Tripp Elementary District 102.
A Lake Forest schools administrator has been tabbed as the next superintendent at Aptakisic-Tripp Elementary District 102 in the Buffalo Grove-Bannockburn area.
The D-102 board president announced its selection of Lori Wilcox, currently the assistant superintendent for growth, talent and human relations in Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115, last week, according to Chicago Tribune reports.
Wilcox will replace Theresa Dunkin on July 1.

“She’s just such a people person,” board president Ellyn Ross said. “Lori’s vision really matches our vision. She just exuded all of that.”
Wilcox, who has worked for several elementary schools including nine years in Highland Park, was selected among a nationwide field of 53 applicants and over six others who were interviewed for the position.

“They just really represent who I am and how I operate,” Wilcox said of District 102.
