Multi-vehicle Crash Near Grayslake Leaves 1 Person Dead
Two landscaping trucks and several cars were involved in the Monday afternoon accident.
At least one person died in a crash involving two landscaping trucks and multiple cars Monday afternoon near Grayslake, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Official details about how the accident in unincorporated Lake County happened, as well as the identity of the accident’s fatality have not been released yet. Authorities blocked off Belvidere Road at Battershall Road, and the Lake County Coroner arrived at the scene at around 2 p.m., the report stated.
The coroner was seen working near a damaged Honda that had crashed into a ditch, the report added.

The driver of one of the landscaping trucks had to be extricated from the vehicle, and both truck drivers were sent to area hospitals, the report stated. The driver of a Chevrolet mini-van that was in the accident was treated at the scene and released, the report added.
