The Performer's School Introduces Guest Artist Workshop Series
Introducing new Guest Artist Workshop Series offering students exclusive access to the industry tricks, tips, and more

In celebration of 5 successful years in business, North Shore based The Performers School (TPS) is using its professional theatre ties to add a unique, exclusive new Guest Artist Workshop Series for children of all ages. Students will have the exclusive opportunity to be trained in voice, dance, acting, and auditioning techniques by industry leaders, Broadway performers, and talent agents who know how to land any role from Chicagoland theatres to national commercials.
Students from TPS have won awards including the 2017 Illinois high school musical theater award for Best Actress and have been cast in national commercials such as Trix cereal and Belk department stores. This is due to the field experience of each TPS instructor and their knowledge on how the national theatre industry is run. Utilizing their professional ties, TPS’ new Guest Artist Workshop Series includes workshops on Hamilton Dance, Dance Auditioning, the Ins and Outs of the Business, General Auditioning, Fight Choreography, Self-taping Auditions, and more, all taught by industry legends.
“This new guest artist workshop series offers exclusive, invaluable musical theatre training right here on the North Shore, helping students gain confidence and professional skills for any of their theatrical endeavors,” explains co-founder Stacey Flaster.
